Hayden Matthew Stephens, 18-month-old son of
Brian and Becky Stephens of Lubbock, went to be with Jesus early
in the morning, Thursday, February 19, 2009.
Hayden was born August 14,
2007 and was a little warrior for all of his days. His family
knows that their “Little Bubba” is comfortable and at peace at
last in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his adoring
parents, his loving older sister, Hayleigh Lynn, and his triplet
siblings and kindred souls, Hudson Jeremiah and Hannah Kay;
grandparents Lynn and Linda Brisendine of Brownfield and Russ
and Sharion Stephens of Lubbock; uncles and aunts Alan and
Barbie Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brian and Susan
Brisendine of Brownfield, Ken and April Stephens of Greenville,
North Carolina and Daniel and Kayla Stephens of Midland.
Hayden also leaves behind his
great-grandparents Herb and Elizabeth Vogel and Naomi Brisendine,
all of Hereford and loving cousins, Logan and Landon Taylor;
Thomas, Blake and Maddie Brisendine; Matthew and Madeline
Stephens; and Jonah, Jude and Kampbell Stephens.
His family is eternally
grateful for the extraordinary care and devotion Hayden received
for many months from the doctors, nurses and staff of Covenant
Medical Center.
Visitation will be held at
Sanders Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February
20.. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Trinity
Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 21.
In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations to Covenant Medical Center NICU and ICU in
honor of Hayden.
