Inez Anderson

Services
for Inez Lorean Anderson, formerly Inez Patty, 87, a resident of
Lubbock since 1959 will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in
Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Ken Horn officiating.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are
under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson passed away on February 12, 2010.
Inez was born June 16, 1922 in Fyffe, Alabama. She
married Charles N. Patty June of 1938. He preceded her in death in 1980
in Ft. Worth, TX. Inez married Albert Anderson on January 21, 1984 in
Lubbock, TX. He passed away in 1995.
Inez was a talented seamstress, beginning her career in
Michigan in the automotive industry. She owned and operated a Drapery
Shop in Lubbock.
Inez was an officer and a member of the Rebecca
Lodge. She was a strong and independent lady, a wonderful mother and
grandmother. Inez loved people and enjoyed traveling and playing card
games.
Survivors include her children; Inez Pearce, Charles
R. Patty and wife, Carol; Charlotte Baker and husband, Ron; Mike Patty;
sister, Doris Maddox; brother, Clarence Johnson and wife, Charlotte;
ten grandchildren, Al Pearce, Pam Bryant, Kim West, Chuck Patty,
Jennifer Hatchett, Angela Paschall, Erin Lea, Stephanie Hunter, Stephen
Paschall and Jeff Patty; numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Inez was also preceded in death by her parents; four
brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter, Glenda Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.,
Monday at Sanders Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s
Association.
