Services for R. B. Brannan,
85, of Lubbock will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.
at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Horn officiating.
Interment will follow at the Idalou Cemetery under the direction of
Sanders Funeral Home.
Mr. Brannan passed
away on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. He was born July 15, 1924 in
Kinta, Oklahoma. He married Juanita Starkey on April 20, 1945 in
McAlester, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 30, 2009. R.
B. was employed by Adams Paint Company for 12 years and Plains Coop for
15 years.
He was preceded in
death by a sister, Audrey Kirksey; and a brother, James Brannan. His
survivors include a son, Kelly Brannan of Lubbock; a brother, Charles
Brannan of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; grandson, Dustin Brannan;
granddaughter, Leslie Ivie; five great-granddaughters, Chandler, Baylor,
Leah, Addison, and Kaylan; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are
suggested to a favorite charity.
