Margie Fails  

    We celebrate the life of Margie Rogers Fails who was reunited with her husband, C. J., on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 12:40 p.m.  She was born December 29, 1922, in Venus, Texas to Jack and Ethel Rogers.  She was a homemaker and partner with her husband in operating their farm outside of Meadow, Texas for over 50 years.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, C. J. Fails, Jr., her parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.

    She is survived by her 3 daughters, Dianne and husband Cecil, Patricia and husband James, both of Lubbock, Beverly and husband Jan of Los Lunas, NM, and 1 son, Chris and wife Deanna of Meadow. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 sister, Bonnie Teague, and 1 brother, C. L. Rogers, both of Lubbock, as well as a host of family and friends.

    There will be a visitation at Sanders Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2010, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Meadow, Texas.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial.
