David Tabor  

     Services for David C. Tabor,64 ,of Woodrow, will be 2:00 p.m Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Sanders Memorial Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Elizabeth Abraham.   Burial will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.

    David was born April 16, 1945 in Roxton, Texas to Alice and Hubert Tabor.  David moved to Lubbock in 1952 and graduated  from Lubbock High School in 1964.  He retired from auto parts sales in the Lubbock area.

    David was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Zella Wallace.

    Survivors include; 4 brothers, Hubert of Lubbock, Paul and J W of Woodrow and James of Allen; seven sisters, Billie Cummings of Ft Worth, Sue Phares , Dorothy Aycock, Janet Lusk all of Lubbock, Patsy Dickerson of Slaton, Mary Williams of Smyer, and Vicki McCrary of Woodrow and numerous nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Sanders Funeral Home, 1420-Main Street, Downtown Lubbock.
