Carl Lambert, D.V.M.
Carl T. Lambert, Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine, died on Friday, July 16, in Lubbock, TX, at the age of 96.
Dr. Lambert was born April 26, 1914 in Denver, CO, to Jack and Celia
Lambert. Soon afterwards the family moved to Los Angeles, CA. After
Carl graduated from high school he enrolled at Utah State in Logan, UT
for several years and then went on to Colorado State’s School of
Veterinary Medicine in Fort Collins, CO and graduated in 1942. He
practiced veterinary medicine in Visalia, CA for more than forty years
until he retired in the late 1980’s.
Dr. Lambert was preceded in death by his second wife, Billie Mae
Harter Lambert, and his second son, Mark J. Lambert. He is survived by
two sons, Norman M. Lambert and his wife, Barbara A. McMullen of Fresno,
CA, and Kent P. Lambert and his wife Ramona, of Bellingham, WA, thirteen
grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Sander’s Funeral Home in Lubbock on
Monday evening July 19, 2010, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services
will be held at the City of Lubbock Cemetery on Tuesday, July 20, 2010,
at 11:00 a.m.
