James Liff Sanders, II   

    Services for James Liff Sanders, II, 57, of Austin will be 10 a.m. today at Sanders Memorial Chapel, officiating by Josh Stephens. Burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

    He passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Austin. He was born July 2, 1953 in Lubbock and lived in Lubbock for about 50 years. He graduated from Abilene Christian High School and attended Abilene Christian College briefly before going into the work force as a lifelong salesman.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Belle Sanders.

    Survivors include his daughter, Morgan Sanders of Round Rock, Texas; father, J.L. "Liff" Sanders of Lubbock, Texas; sister, Shirley Gilmer and husband Jim of Amarillo, Texas; four nephews, Jake Gilmer, Josh Stephens, Jon Stephens and Matthew Stephens; and one niece, Julianne Stephens.
