Nell Tyson   

     Graveside services for Nell Tyson, 67, of Lubbock will be at 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010 at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. 

     Mrs. Tyson went to be with her Savior on June 18, 2010.

     Nell was born March 4, 1943 in Tahoka, TX to Monroe and Doris Owens.  She graduated from Draughn’s Business College and Jessie Lee’s Hair Design Institute.  Nell worked at the Elk’s Lodge, Tyson Glass and retired from Southwest Airlines.  She was a faithful Christian and had a quiet faith. 

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Tyson; her parents and a brother, Johnny Monroe Owens on July 3, 1985.

     Loved ones include her daughter, Deanie Seay and husband, Gaylon; three grandchildren, Cody, Kasi and Kati; sisters, Linda Burleson and Marilyn Pinkert; a brother, Edward Owens.

     The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Sunday at Sanders Funeral Home.
