Larry Herald  

       Larry “Pops” Herald, 70, of Lubbock passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010.  He was born January 14, 1940 in Hooker, Oklahoma to Marshal and Lucille Herald.  He worked for West Texas Peterbilt for 32 years and was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge.  Larry’s favorite hobby’s included woodworking and gardening.

   His survivors include his wife of 18 years Carylon, sons, Larry, Jr., Bryan, and Michael Herald; a daughter, E. D. Bagby; step son, Brandon Black; sister, Pat Carman; brother, Jerry Herald; and numerous grandchildren.

   Services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Craven officiating.  Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-6:00 p.m.
