Bob Vandiver  

    Memorial services for Bobby Joe Vandiver, 76, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ken Horn officiating.

     Mr. Vandiver passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010.

     Bobby Joe was born April 14, 1933 in Wichita Falls, TX. He married Mary Lou Wylie on November 16, 1951.  Bob has owned and operated Bob Vandiver Office Equipment for over fifty years.  He was the receipient of many awards and accomplishments including; he was one of eight men who formed YFL over 40 years ago; member of the American Trapshooter Association; Lubbock Hubbers Baseball Team; American Quarter Horse Association and was an avid bowler.

     Loved ones include his wife, Mary Lou Vandiver; daughter, Karen Todd and husband, Randy; son, Ric Vandiver; three grandchildren, Bobby Todd and wife, Camille; Steven Todd, Amy Hickman and husband, Brandon; two great grandchildren, Raeley Hichman and Carson Todd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Floyd Vandiver and Lillie Bell.

      Memorials are suggested to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Lubbock.   

     Bob will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
