More and more families are wanting to make arrangements in advance of need. They find peace of mind in knowing that everything is planned ahead, leaving no burden on others. Arrangements can be made specifying special wishes. And, of course, it alleviates decisions during stress and time of tragedy. For many people, a prearranged and pre-financed funeral is a valuable and protected asset that offers peace of mind for the family.

The pre-need system is basically the advanced selection of funeral services with the money received being placed into a trust fund account. This system has been proven to work well in a wide range of circumstances.

A Sanders Family Promise to You

A prearranged funeral plan will:

guarantee that no matter what happens to the cost of funerals in the future, YOU PAY NO MORE.
guarantee the complete service of your choice (as elaborate or simple as you wish).
guarantee to save your family from difficult decisions at a time of sorrow.
guarantee PEACE OF MIND in knowing that your family will be spared unforeseen expenses.

There are ways you can fund your Prearranged Funeral. Pre-need contracts are funded by insurance or trust accounts. You can elect to make a single payment or to spread the cost out over a period of time. Only a small percentage of the price is necessary to open a trust account. At this time, a contract is prepared fully itemizing the services selected.

All future payments are deposited into this trust account which is under the control of the Texas Department of Banking. At the time of death, the funds are transferred to Sanders Funeral Home where they are credited to the funeral account.
