Emma Lois Holloway

A celebration of the life of Emma Lois Holloway, 92, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Emma’s family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Thursday at Sanders Funeral Home. Mrs. Holloway went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 17, 2015. Emma Lois was born March 7, 1923 in Albany, Texas to Wesley and Ora Sanders. She married Roy Shelby Holloway on June 24, 1939 in Lubbock, TX. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1993. Emma was a skilled salesperson for Avon, Amway, Nutrilite, A.L. Williams Insurance; she also operated the Coffee Cup. She was an active member of Vandelia Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sons, Jimmy and Johnny Holloway; infant daughter, Rita Sue; grandson, Stacy Russell. Loved ones include her son, Gary Holloway and wife, Kay; daughter, Louise Robertson and husband, Chris; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ty, Kelly, Mark, Jason, Kory Holloway and Jerod Rister.
