Gloria J. Siewert

Gloria Jean Siewert (Nordahl) was born on September 2, 1944, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Gloria passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion that has forever impacted the lives of her family and friends. Growing up in Albert Lea, Gloria developed a strong foundation of values that shaped her into the caring person she was known to be. Gloria married James Allen, they had four children. They were later divorced. She later then met and married Gerald Siewert in Cresco, IA on September 6 1975. Living in Rochester and Hayfield, Minnesota. Moving to Lubbock TX in 1986 She Loved her family, and was devoted in her faith. She especially loved her feisty little dogs over the years. Gloria was a very talented crafter including needle work, sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking (her lefse was the very best). She was fond of nature and enjoyed road trips, camping, fishing, picnics and picking berries. A devoted member of the Wayne Avenue Baptist Church since 1990, Gloria found solace and strength in her community of faith, where she shared her love and kindness with everyone around her. Gloria is survived by her children Jeff (Peggy) Allen, James (Pam) Allen, Rodney (Melissa) Allen, and Candy (Chris) Jeffreys, step children Ray (Marie) Siewert, Dale (Fran) Siewert, David Siewert, and many grand children and great grand children whom she loved very much, sisters Audrey Clark and Darlene Winter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents Palmer and Gladys, brother Roger, step children Darrell and Nancy Siewert, and granddaughter Krista Allen. We invite all who knew and loved Gloria to join us in honoring her life and legacy at a funeral service to be held at Wayne Avenue Baptist Church on March 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A visitation will occur prior to the service at 9:00 AM on the same day. Graveside services will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. As we gather to celebrate Gloria's life, let us remember her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love for family and friends. Her beautiful spirit has touched countless lives, and she will be dearly missed.
