Timothy Wayne Schooler

Timothy Wayne Schooler, 69, of Lubbock, Texas passed away January 2, 2024. Tim was born August 28, 1954, in Wichita Falls, TX to JL Schooler and Donnalita Schooler. He graduated from Whiteface high school in 1972. He married Della Peters on October 4, 2003. Early on in life he enjoyed the time he had working on a farm and with animals. He loved cross-country trips on his motorcycle. He enjoyed watching wrastling (wrestling), westerns, football, and crime shows. His most precious gifts were his grandchildren whom he affectionately called his sugar babes and he had nick names for each of them. Everyone who knew him knew that he loved the Lord. He became a Christian as a child. He served as a Trustee and Sunday school teacher in the church and enjoyed greeting members as an usher. Tim didn't know a stranger, he loved telling his stories to anyone who would listen. He was always singing. Some of his favorites to sing were Just Swingin', I've Been Everywhere, You Are My Sunshine, and Friends In Low Places. Before ending phone calls with his family he would always say " Toodaloo loo loo loo!!". Tim was also a loving fahter and husband. Loved ones include spouse Della Schooler; son John Schooler (Dlysa); daughter Katie Clark (Preston); stepdaughter Alisha Chilcutt (Brock); stepdaughter Chezla Hagood (Brandon); stepson Jeremy Kimbrell (Susie); Grandchildren Braden Chilcutt; Bailey Chilcutt; Kinzie Hagood; Kelsie Schooler; JL Schooler; Carsyn Kimbrell; Luke Hagood; Bryson Schooler; Kenzlee Clark; Sisters Treva Ellis; Cathy Brookshire (Tony); sister in law Debbie McCollum; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents JL and Donnalita Schooler; Susan Wheeler, his twin sister. Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home January 8, 2024, 9:00 AM to 11 AM. A celebration of his life will be 11:00 AM January 8, 2024, in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Trent Lowe and Harrold Harrison officiating. Graveside services will follow in Morton Cemetery.
