Brenda Knowles, 80, of Lubbock, Texas passed away November 24, 2021. Brenda was born January 6, 1941 in Levelland, TX to John and Sarah Payne. She married Oscar Silas Knowles, Jr. on March 16, 1961 in Lubbock. For thirty-five years, she and her husband owned Donna's Pak-A Sak grocer on Slaton Highway. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on December 23, 2011. She is survived by her son, Zane Knowles of Lubbock; daughter, Chantell Knowles of Lubbock; brother-in-law, Bobby Knowles of Lubbock; brother, Don Payne. She was loved by everyone who knew her! A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
