Charles Allen Boone

A celebration of the life of Allen Boone, 44, of Lubbock, Texas will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his graveside in the Abernathy Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM Friday, March 27, 2020 at Sanders Funeral Home. Please limit groups to 3 or less at a time to provide a safe environment for everyone and practice social distancing. Allen passed away March 19, 2020. Allen was born May 10, 1975 in Lubbock, TX to Tom and Wanda Boone. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1994 and attended Texas Tech University. Allen was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. Loved ones include sister Brenda Fuller, nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials are suggested to a charity of your choice. Allen was very compassionate and had a heart for helping people. He often helped those who were down on their luck. He tried to love unconditionally and befriend those who needed a friend while being a loyal friend to many. He was a talented musician who played the upright bass, the bass guitar and spent time writing in depth songs about life. In high school, he played in the orchestra then later moved on to playing in the Plainview symphony during his college years. Allen had a great love for music as well as animals. He never met a dog he didn’t like and cared for many dogs and animals over his lifetime. He will be fondly remembered as an intelligent, creative and fun-loving guy.
