David Rodriguez, 64, of Amarillo, Texas passed away January 25, 2022. David was born January 30, 1957, in Lubbock, TX to Fernando Rodriguez and Alejandra Rodriguez. David married Nita Goodnight on March 24, 1986 in Lubbock, Tx. He was a painter for many years then retired. David was a very loving, caring, and giving person. He would always offer you something to eat or drink when you would come over. David loved cooking, he enjoyed listening to music, and he could always make you laugh when you were sad. Loved ones include spouse Nita Rodriguez; daughter Priscilla Charnesky and husband Josiah of Amarillo, TX; son David Jr. Rodriguez of Amarillo, Tx; daughter Christie Rodriguez; son Noah Rodriguez; siblings, Fernando Jr. Rodriguez and wife Gloria of Lubbock, Tx.; Elizabeth Gutierrez and husband Frank of Lubbock, Tx; Adam Rodriguez and wife Cecilia of Lubbock,Tx; Daniel Rodriguez and wife Jenny of Lubbock, Tx; Simon Rodriguez and girlfriend Tina of Lubbock, Tx; Yolanda Mackey and husband Alton of Lubbock, Tx; Tila Figueroa; Felipe Rodriguez and wife Carolina of Indiana; grandchildren Elijah, and Emily Charnesky of Amarillo, Tx; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Fernando Rodriguez (Father), Alejandra Rodriguez (Mother), Pete Martinez (Brother), Estella Sanchez (Sister), Nora Martinez (Sister), Guemesinda Lara (Sister), Maria Ortiz (Sister) Family visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home Wednesday, February 02, 2022, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. A celebration of his life will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Saldana officiating. Graveside services will follow in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
