A celebration of the life of Eloisa G Garces, 85, of Lubbock, Texas will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Farmer officiating. Graveside services will follow in Levelland Cemetery. Viewing will be come and go from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 02, 2021, at Sanders Funeral Home with Service in the chapel from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Eloisa was born October 14, 1935, in Yorktown, TX to Geronimo Garcia and Guadalupe Garcia. She live the rest of her life in Mathis, TX. Eloisa was a waitress/cook for most of her life. She enjoyed watching her Spanish Novellas on T.V. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. When she wasn't working, she went shopping for food to make sure her house was stocked for the family. She enjoyed dancing, especially when listening to her Spanish music. Family was very important to her and she did her best to help provide and show loved to everyone around her. Loved ones include daughter Ida Garces Cervantes (Martin) of Lubbock; daughter Ylma Garces Martinez of Levelland; son Felix Garces, Jr. (Nelda) of Taft; son Federico Garces of Lubbock; sister Dora Garcia Ortega of Lubbock; brother Ruben Garcia of Lubbock; son-in-law Juan Quezada; 12 Grandchildren Gilbert, Becky, Anthony, Adam, Rico, Mariah, Andrew, Desiree, Juan Jr., Luis, Norma Jean, and Felix III; and 23 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Felix Garces (Spouse), Geronimo Garcia (Father), Guadalupe Garcia (Mother), Samuel Garces (Son), Elsa Garces Quezada (Daughter), Norma Garces (Daughter), Dionicio Garcia (Brother), Ray Martinez (Son-in-law).
