Erineo Jimenez, 25, of Lubbock, Texas passed away May 29, 2022. Erineo was born January 1, 1997 in Lubbock, TX to Erineo Jimenez and Maria Jimenez. Erineo attended Lubbock High School and graduated in 2015. He loved being around family and friends for celebrations or just cooking out. He would stay up all night on his days off playing video games with his friends. He had a beautiful heart and contagious smile. Erineo enjoyed making people laugh and always gave with his heart. He worked as a Correctional Officer for Giles Dalby Correctional Facility for 6 years. Loved ones include mother Maria Jimenez; father Erineo Jimenez; sister Marisela Jimenez and half-sister Priscilla Portillo (Chris); maternal grandmother Juanita Salinas; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and friends. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather Umberto Salinas; and paternal grandparents Erineo Jimenez, Sr. and Guadalupe Jimenez. Visitation and Rosary will be at Sanders Funeral Home Sunday June 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Joseph Thanavelil officiating. Graveside services will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
