Eva Cruz

February 28, 1950 - December 21, 2020

Eva Arce Cruz passed away on December 21st, 2020 peacefully at her home in Slaton, Texas. She was born February 28th, 1950 and raised in her hometown Asherton, Texas. She married in 1968 and moved to Lubbock, Texas where she raised her four children. She lived her Cursillo and was an active Guadalupana at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Slaton. Her very last words were that she was very happy and she loved her children so much. She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Manuela Arce, sister Dora Alicia Garcia, nephew Obed Jorge Garcia, grandson Johnathon Siguenza and Jeremiah Lara. She is survived by her husband Juan Cruz, daughters Sandy Cruz Ortiz (Arnie), Aricelia Cruz, Yolanda Cruz, son Juan Jesus Cruz, grandchildren Sereena (Dominic), Jacob, Ylaunie, Gabriella, Natalee, Isaac, Alyssa, Adrian, Izabella, Alexia, Ariana, great grandchildren Serriah, Saydee, Saniylee, SkyLynn, Sianna, Dominic Jr., Jaycee, Julius, Jemyni, Jyllianna, Jordyn, and Juan, siblings Manuel Arce Jr.(Estella), Ricardo Arce (Consuelo), Alma Zamora (Mario), Alfredo Arce (Rosa), George Arce (Viola), Marisela Miranda, and Daniel Arce. There will be a viewing Monday December 28, 2020 at Sander's Funeral Home, the rosary will be later that day at 7:30pm. Services will be Tuesday December 29, 2020 at City of Lubbock Cemetery at 10am.
