Heather Lenee Reed, 48, of Lubbock passed away October 15, 2020. Heather was born October 9, 1972 in Lubbock, TX to Harley and Linda Huff. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1991 where she was a cheerleader and then graduted Oklahoma State University in 1995. During her childhood and youth Heather spent her summers at Camp Olympia. Heather was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After college, she worked on the Celebrity Cruise Line where she fell in love with the ocean. Heather was a devoted mother to her pride and joy, Emily; she enjoyed playing pranks on family and friends; planning parties and traveling. In her quiet time, she enjoyed a good book or watching reality television. She had a special love of animals. She will be missed by all who knew her. Loved ones include her parents; Harley and Linda Huff; daughter Emily Claire Reed; sister Holly Edmister and husband, Andy; niece, Riley Edmister; niece, Carley Ryan Edmister; nephew, Ryder Edmister; several uncles, aunts and cousins. Her family is planning a private celebration of her life.
