Madison Danielle VanArsdale, 23, of Canyon, Texas passed away March 2, 2022. Madison was born February 23, 1999, in Dallas County, TX to Daniel VanArsdale and Misty Winter. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, and friend to so many. As a child she was so caring and thoughtful to the family that surrounded her, she would buy little trinkets of great meaning for her loved ones at the school Christmas store. She was a lover of music, fashion, and learning as much as possible. She was the first of the grandkids to go on to higher learning and acquire multiple degrees. She led the way by inspiring her brother Carson to begin his college education with Cisco College. She began her education as a kindergartner at May Pearl Elementary and graduated in 2017 with an associate's in general education. While attending high school she became an advocate of the LGBTQ community. She then received multiple scholarships to attend Midwestern State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Then she set on to pursue her Master's degree in Economics at West Texas A&M. While attending she received several recognition's due to her fast track of learning. She was well on her way in her professional accomplishments as an intern, as an auditor for a financial firm. Her earliest memory as a child she loved picking wildflowers for mommy as she rode her big wheel through the neighborhood. She enjoyed sleepovers and pizza nights with her cousins and friends. She had a loving heart for animals she would foster in her home. She volunteered at numerous organizations. Her hobbies included cross-stitch, listening to music, traveling to local areas to expand her mind. She was an adventurous, wildflower with hippie old sole. Her surviving family members include Misty Winter, mother; Daniel VanArsdale, father; Carson Winter, brother; Holden Gardner, brother. In addition, Mary Mowery, grandmother; Barbara Powell, grandmother; and Larry Bevill, grandfather. Additionally, she had Aunts and Uncles that include Dallas & Cheryl Mowery; Christy & Danny Godwin; Theresa and Doug VanArsdale; and lastly Paulette & Martin Meany. She had a loving connection with cousins, Brianna & Tyler Newman; Austin Blevins; Sydnee Stewart Olivia VanArsdale; Jonathan, Trevor, and Cameron Meany. She was proceeded in death by, her great grandfather, Kenneth "Papa" Wren; grandmother, Kari Bevill; great grandmother Betty Bethune; great grandmother, Norma Wren; and lastly and wholeheartedly, grandfather, Terry "Papa" Mowery. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Josh Reglin officiating. Please celebrate the life of Madison by visiting www.sandersfuneralhome.com.
