Meagan Rieder

July 3, 1981 - February 21, 2022

Meagan Gravelle Rieder, 40, of Lubbock, Texas passed away February 21, 2022. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, auntie and friend and will be greatly missed. Meagan was born July 3, 1981, in Pasadena, California to Dale and Cathy Gravelle. It was their 5th wedding anniversary, and she was the best anniversary gift they could have given each other. She graduated from Midland Lee High school in Midland, TX. After high school, she attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she met and fell in love with Tim Rieder. They both moved to Lubbock where Meagan graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. In December of 2008, Meagan married the love of her life, Tim. Meagan and Tim stayed in Lubbock where she was an accomplished sales director at Advanced Graphix for the last 16 years. She worked hard and long to make sure her clients were served, and she did it with a dimpled smile and determination. Meagan enjoyed her Junior League activities, her "girl gang", decorating her lovely home, binge watching her shows, Louis Vuitton bags, anything quatrefoil shaped, the color pink, being an auntie and her kitties. She was THE cat lady. Mostly she loved being with her person, Tim. Meagan is survived by her parents, Dale and Cathy Gravelle; two brothers, Brian and Kevin Gravelle; younger sister, Caitlin Arrieta; Brother-in-law, Nick Arrieta; two nieces Riley and Logan Arrieta; nephew, Anthony Arrieta; grandfather, Orville Gravelle Sr. and her kitty kids Linkin, Ellie and Frankie. A celebration of life will be held for Meagan and Tim Rieder Friday April 8, 2022 at 2pm at Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock, TX. For those unable to attend, there will be a live stream available on their website. Please help us celebrate the lives of Meagan and Tim and share your memories with their families and friends. The family asks in lieu of flowers to make donations to their favorite causes which include The Haven Animal Care Shelter (www.havenacs.org) and the American Parkinson Disease Association (www.apdaparkinson.org).
