Miguel Angel "Mickey" Villarreal, 63, of Lubbock, Texas passed away July 5, 2022. Miguel was born May 4, 1959, in Petersburg, Texas to Tomas Villarreal and Santos Villarreal. Miguel married Deborah Ruiz on March 6, 1993. Loved ones include his beloved wife of 29 years, Deborah Villarreal; their children, Michelle Rodriguez (Hilario), Miguel Villarreal (Mica), Micah Villarreal (Felicity), Matthew Villarreal (Delila); siblings, Rosa Ramos (Joe), Thomas Villareal (Mary), Reyes Villarreal (Abby), Joe Manuel Villarreal, Maria Salas (Benigno), Richard Villarreal, Corina Villarreal (Raymond Saldana), Saul Villarreal, and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Tomas Villarreal (father) and Santos Villarreal (mother). Mickey was a loving husband, father, as well as a caring pawpaw to his 7 grandchildren Michael, Tobias, Theodore, Hilario, Adora, Elvie, Mikki, and Alouette (due in October). His most precious morals in life were following Jehovah God by reading scriptures every day and studying with the brothers and sisters. He cherished his family the most by even making sure his family all ate at the dinner table together. He worked hard all of his life by providing for his family and always took pride in his work. Most of his hobbies were collecting Harley- Davidson memorabilia and riding his Dyna-wide glide motorcycle and Harley truck. You could always enjoy yourself with him by listening to his favorite music that included 60s, 70s and 80s classic Rock. With every situation that arose, he was a great storyteller to all his friends and family. Every aspect of the outdoors was his favorite which included camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and taking his Harley out for a ride. He loved to work on vehicles and even taught his children to service their own. With an infectious smile, his family loved when he shook while he laughed. He had a unique sense of humor that was everyone's favorite. When people were in need, Mickey was always there to help. He had a multitude of friend's that cared for him deeply. Mickey will always be missed as he symbolized what a true family man is meant to be. He called himself a "Jack of all trades, but a master of none". He will always be affectionately remembered as "My Love", "Babe", "My Biggest Baby", "Mi Corazón", "My Viejo", "Sexy", "Old man", "Daddy" and "Pawpaw". A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the CenterPointe Event Center, 4925 Marsha Sharp Freeway, Lubbock, TX 79407.
