Paula Narbaez, 80, of Lubbock, Texas called home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 21, 2022. Paula was born June 18, 1941 in Texas to Martin and Magdelena Gonzales. She graduated from Idalou High School in 1958. Paula married David Narbaez on May 5, 1963. She was an insurance agent. Paula loved to travel including to Bahamas, Switzerland, Rome, London, Spain, Italy, Acapulco and numerous locations in the United States. She knew no strangers and enjoyed life to the fullest. Paula (Grandma) loved horses, cowboy hats, westerns and Rock and Roll. Loved ones include her children, Jerry Narbaez (Emily), John Narbaez (Stephanie) Jamie Narbaez, Joel Narbaez (Jeanie); Jason Narbaez (Dalia) and Jeffrey Narbaez (Cynthia); brother, Jim Gonzales; sisters, Mona Oliva, Cleta Arrelano, Rosie Navarro, Juanita Arrelano and Margie Roberts; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Magdelana Gonzales; husband, David Narbaez; brothers, Pete and Tommy Gonzales. Family visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Home Wednesday, February 23, 2022,5:30-7:00 p.m. with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Sanders Memorial Chapel A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Sanders Memorial Chapel.
