Robert Lutz

October 26, 1937 - March 5, 2022

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, Robert Lutz, father of two children, passed away after an illness at the age of 84 in Lubbock, TX where his daughter Darlene resides who helped care for him the last two years of his life. Robert was born on October 26, 1937, in Perkasie, Pa. to William (Bill) and Dorothy Lutz. Where he found his passion for antique furniture restoration and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1960. In August 1960, he married Helen C. Leoni of Pa. They raised two children, Robert A. and Darlene C. Robert loved being a horticulturist, he also had a passion for painting, and he combined his two favorite hobbies to be an extraordinary antique furniture restorationist and a Custom furniture fabricator. His son Robert A. (Bob) shared his enthusiasm of custom furniture fabrication and operates a current business called Designer's Manufacturing Center, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.- Robert's paintings of various scenery were much admired by friends and family, but Robert was known for his dedication to work, being a perfectionist, and his compassionate spirit. Robert was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill), his mother, Dorothy, and a brother. He is survived by his two children, Robert A. Lutz, and Darlene C. Germany, a grandchild, Melissa (Lutz), and great-grandchild Wyatt (Lutz).
