Beatrice Flores Gonzales

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beatrice Flores Gonzales, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on August 29, 2026, in her lifelong home of Lubbock, Texas. She was born on June 7, 1965, in Lubbock, where she spent her formative years and built a life rich with love and connection. Beatrice devoted her career to serving others as a Nurses Aid, bringing compassion and care to countless individuals through Home Health services and local nursing homes. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature made a profound impact on those she cared for, embodying the very essence of what it means to be a healer. She embraced her role as a family matriarch with joy, raising her three sons, Brian, Benjamin, and Thomas, along with her cherished daughter, Marina. Beatrice is also survived by her life partner Cruz; also her loving daughters-in-laws, Ashley and Andrea, her brothers Ray, Tony, and Mike, her sisters Sulema Sanchez, Olivia Flores-Alas, Elvira Flores, and Alicia Flores, as well as her ever-expanding family of nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her unwavering love. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Reyes and Guadalupe Flores; brothers, Samuel Flores, Jessie Flores, Juan Flores, Adam Flores and Rosendo Flores; Son in law Garry Dosher. A devout Christian, Beatrice found solace and strength in her faith, attending various churches throughout Lubbock. Her spirit was further illuminated by her love for crafting; she had a special talent for creating beautiful door wreaths that served as thoughtful gifts for family and friends. An avid treasure hunter, Beatrice delighted in exploring garage sales for unique items, always with a sparkle in her eye and her signature red lipstick. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held on September 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Sanders Memorial Chapel, where family and friends will gather to reflect on the beautiful memories they shared with Beatrice. Following the service, her remains will be cremated, an act that aligns with her wishes and will allow her spirit to remain close to those she loved. Though Beatrice has left this earthly realm, her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion endures. She will be profoundly missed, but her memory will forever shine in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. In readiness to honor her remarkable life, we invite all who loved Beatrice to come together to celebrate the extraordinary woman she was.
