Joanne Delores Hale

Joanne Delores Hale, born on March 13, 1933, in Englewood, Colorado, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas, where she had resided since 1980. A beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Joanne's life was a testament to love, resilience, and community. She married Eugene Wallace, who preceded her in death on July 26, 1963. She later married Stan Hale on October 9, 1964, who also left this world on November 8, 2018. Throughout her life, Joanne embraced every moment, finding joy in family gatherings and the simple pleasures of camping, fishing, and hunting. An accomplished Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Trusted Advisors, Joanne was not only dedicated to her profession but also to her community. She was a longtime member of Monterey Church of Christ, where she actively participated in church activities, including the Active Retirees group, and also spent time volunteering at Methodist/Covenant Hospital. Her love for Texas Tech was no secret. She thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to any sporting event. Joanne loved attending her weekly card games, especially Bridge, surrounded by friends who became family Joanne is survived by her daughter Deanne Robertson, her daughter Camille Pritchett and husband, Randy, her daughter-in-law Sharla Wallace, her step-daughter, Sherry Pollinzi and husband, Sam, her step-daughter, Terry Smith; her 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, her very special nieces and nephews, who were both beloved relatives by birth and by heart. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Joanne was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beulah Heltman, her four siblings and her son, Tracy Wallace. The family will hold a memorial service in her honor at Monterey Church of Christ on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM. All who knew and loved Joanne are invited to come together to celebrate her life, share stories, and reflect on her long and wonderful life. The family would also like to thank her wonderful caregivers at Serendipity Assisted Living and Dr Randy Rozean and staff. Joanne will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the memories of her family and friends.
