Timothy Wilson Daniel, Jr.

Timothy Wilson Daniel II, 55, of Lubbock TX, passed away on May 19, 2026 after battling cancer. Tim was born in Roswell, NM on July 28, 1970 to Yvonne and Tim Danel Sr. Tim attended public schools in Roswell . In 1985, Tim started high school and went on to earn his Associates Degree at New Mexico Military Institute. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix in Louisiana in 1998. Tim started his 27 year career as an administrator in the long term care industry and earned him Administrator of the year. His career as an administrator in the long-term care industry was marked by his strong advocacy for elderly rights, where he dedicated himself to being a voice for those who often went unheard and forgotten. During his time in Louisiana, he had to evacuate several times during the hurricane seasons. However hard his days would be, Tim joyfully returned each day to fight the good fight for those that had lost their voice. Known for his distinguished and loving nature, Tim was a sanctuary for many, providing unwavering support and understanding to anyone in need. His home was a place where laughter and music thrived; he possessed a profound appreciation for all genres. Tim was influenced by Momma Kate, his parents, sisters Tracy, Kelly and lifelong friend & brother in law James. This close knit circle, exposed him to the wonderful world of music and how depending on your mood the right song could heal a sad heart or distinguish the flames of anger. Each day, he greeted the world with a steaming cup of coffee, ready to embrace life's adventures with open arms and music to set the mood for the day. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Karen Daniel; sisters, Tracy Daniel Nelson & husband Doug; Kelly Daniel Wickersham & husband James; niece Tracy Nicole Quinn & Husband Nick, and great nephew Osbourne Quin. and step children Kari Preston Vogler & husband Kevin, Landi Anderson Cross & husband John, Hayley Brooks Easterwood & husband Chis, Faith Brooks Henderson & husband Creighton, Taylor Brooks, and Catherine Brooks Darrow & husband Braden and grandchildren: Kolbie, Eli, Emma Jo, Raylie, Kelton, Opal Mae, Evelynn, Peyton, Hudson, and Callan. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Floyd Woody, and his father, Tim Wilson Daniel Sr. Tim has a wealth of family and friend who will carry his memory in their hearts. As we remember Tim, let us reflect on the joys he brought into our lives and the legacy of love and compassion he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, forever cherished by those who were privileged to know him. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Joe Arrington Cancer Center, Covenant Hospital, the staff with Hospice of Lubbock, his staff at Heritage Oaks, and Sanders Funeral Home for helping us navigate this journey he was on.
